What would you suggest for starting stats, feats and level progression? Weapons? I was thinking of rapier and short sword. As for other skill - you can choose anything Thank you. And fighter loose all its usefulness past level 4(weapon specialization).Īs for skills other then hide and move silently - max tumble(to 30 somewhere), discipline, UDM(its really fun!), spellcraft. Valkinaz: Shadowdancer is pretty much rubbish past level 1. while the main new players puzzled out their difficulties (or died doing so.). hang around and pass some tips, or just lounge around creating atmosphere. Maybe it was like a community museum trip. and players would log in and be ported to the main party group as they arrived, and left as they pleased. I remember peope used to adventure Chp 1 / 2 of the OC as an online game.
The OC and single player games are still fun for many, but i just tend to prefer the online possibilities.

Yea its weird how often in pvp i come across combinations and abilities i never anticipated (even after trying to build my very best builds offline (and this was before lvl 40)).

Valkinaz: Yeah, kobold have hips but its sneak dice isn't that impressive - just 2d6(5d6 for elite commando) so without assassins level he is kinda subpar here, Through assassin on shifter is awesome - since you don't need str and dex you can max out int. Thats becomes insanely fun with 50 DC on death attack xD Yeah, kobold have hips but its sneak dice isn't that impressive - just 2d6(5d6 for elite commando) so without assassins level he is kinda subpar here, Through assassin on shifter is awesome - since you don't need str and dex you can max out int. which is pretty awesome given the bonuses shifters have. i have heard being a shifter and playing the kobold shape lets u have HIPS. pick pocketing is fun too- but this is often really frowned upon on pvp. i found it quite fun to watch hapless players paralysed from death attack, or doughty fighters go down under a hail of sneak attack. um rogues/assassins/sneak attacks etc are heaps of fun in team pvp. It's pretty amazing how suddenly everything changes in pvp, and all your great ideas suddenly take a leap forward when you realise "omg, i could do that? wow!" - heh yea.
Neofastlinger: once you play a bit with the oc, you maybe can consider trying out your build in team pvp. Get dualwield skills, weapon finess, weapon focus and specialisation(improved to epic versions if you'll have enough xp in Hotu couse you wont go even for 30 level character there)īest race would be human (One free feat and no multiclass penalty), halfling(small creature with favourite class: rogue) or dwarf(favourite class:figher). That way you qualify for both epic precision and epic dodge(you need 30 tumble and 25 dex, so you are pretty much can choose it only on 27 level). Max out dex, get crippling strike on Ro10, defensive roll and improve evasion on Ro13 and Ro16(21 lvl character). You get both WF and WS, has a nice sneak dice, can max more skills and two bonus rogue feats. So going with something like Ro15/F4/SD1 is pretty much way to go. And fighter loose all its usefulness past level 4(weapon specialization). Shadowdancer is pretty much rubbish past level 1.
